Fun Dive: Isla de la Plata Dive (With license)
Well, we all know Galapagos is known for some of the best diving in the world, but did you know to dive in the best spots in Galapagos you have to have a certain amount of dives on your Padi log book? Well Isla de la Plata AKA "The Poor Mans Galapagos" is an Island that you can dive on that has waters and reef similar to Galapagos, hence the knick name.
This is a one day trip with two dives, that starts off at 8am, where we leave on bus to catch our boat in the Norther Ports of Puerto Lopez en Manabi, and meet up with our dive master/instrcutor who will have the rest of the group. Isla de la Plata is located in the National Reserve of Machalilla and is protected by Ecuadors Ministry of ecotourism, which is why the marine life around the island is abundant, a must if not visiting Galapagos. When done we pack up and head abck to Puerto Lopez where we catch our ride back to Montanita.

- Puerto Lopez Port

08h00: Leave Montanita to Puerto Lopez.
09h00: Meet dive instructor, suit-up and head to the boat with dive equipment.
10h30: Arrive at Isla de la Plata and preparre equipment fo rour two dives.
11h45: Head back to Puerto Lopez.
13h00: Arrive in Puerto Lopez and catch our ride back to Montanita.
NOTE: We only dive if the seas conditions are optimal.
